statement.

Through painting, I explore everyday scenes related to the world of classic cars. I am interested in the manual connection with the engine, an experience that brings us closer to the past and allows us to understand what we are driving towards.

I paint moments of concentration and stillness, where the act of repairing or driving becomes a moment of connection.

My work is built from an intimate perspective, shaped by someone who has experienced the scene firsthand. Light and colour take centre stage, creating atmospheres that emphasise silence, introspection, and the relationship between figure and machine.

I see classic cars as vessels of lived experiences, as travel companions: objects we choose to keep alive, that we care for and love.
